- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Amazingly nice folks. Took my wife and niece and nephew for there first kayak trip. They were extremely friendly and helpful and were great at easing my nieces fear.(she was scared at first) we had a blast. Amazing scenery and great waters for beginners. A few rough rapids gave adventure with relaxation. This was my 3rd time on this river and it never gets old. Highly Highly recommend this river, trip, and using hiawassee outfitters for your gear. Great boats with life jackets paddles and drop off for family of four was under $100. 5.5 mile trip was about 4 hours of amazing fun.By Blaine Grem, April 28, 2017
